global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>El grup de Mec\u00e0nica de materials electroactius del CIMNE s&#8217;especialitza en el desenvolupament de models te\u00f2rics i computacionals per investigar la flexoelectricitat en s\u00f2lids, un fenomen on la polaritzaci\u00f3 el\u00e8ctrica s&#8217;acobla amb gradients de deformaci\u00f3. El grup utilitza principalment models continus mentre explora aspectes multiescala en estreta col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb investigadors experimentals, amb l&#8217;objectiu d&#8217;entendre com els gradients de deformaci\u00f3 influeixen en la f\u00edsica dels diel\u00e8ctrics i establir principis d&#8217;enginyeria per a metamaterials electromec\u00e0nics de propera generaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>El grup ha establert un marc te\u00f2ric complet per a la flexoelectricitat tant en deformaci\u00f3 infinitesimal com finita, aclarint les connexions entre diferents fam\u00edlies de formulacions i les seves interpretacions f\u00edsiques. El grup tamb\u00e9 se centra en el disseny de dispositius flexoel\u00e8ctrics i metamaterials que aconsegueixin propietats piezoel\u00e8ctriques de manera efectiva a partir de components no piezoel\u00e8ctrics.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Una \u00e0rea de recerca emergent \u00e9s la modelitzaci\u00f3 te\u00f2rica i computacional de la flexofotovoltaica, amb l&#8217;objectiu de dissenyar i optimitzar una nova fam\u00edlia de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars mitjan\u00e7ant la comprensi\u00f3 de la interacci\u00f3 entre la deformaci\u00f3 mec\u00e0nica i les propietats fotovoltaiques.
